I have had the weed trimmers with the auto line feed it feeds line every time you let off and back on the throttle .this uses line fast and wastefully and you have to use pre spooled line too gets pricey, now some say that you push a button to feed, yes its true but they also work same way as auto feed and will do so if you let off the throttle(the button is just a quick shut off or brake).this subject should be in your research. I am going to try a new feature where you insert a 20 foot line all the way through a head 1/2 way and wind it up(double line) without removing anything,looks like a cool idea and a few manufactures have them.I would like to see a report on those that tells all the other specs like time and power and reliability
